- Download And Install Nokia 6 USB Driver on your computer.
- Install ADB, Fastboot, and Google USB driver on your computer.
- Download the Nokia 6 OTA v6.12H on your computer.
- ENABLE USB DEBUGGING
- Go to Settings➔ System ➔ About phone
- Find the Build Number and press 8 times on it:
- Return to the previous screen. You will see that a line has appeared: “Developers Options”
- Press and check OEM Unlocking & USB Debugging.
Method-1:Update Nokia 6 to Android 9.0 Pie Via dialer
- Download the zip file from the above link and rename the file to update.zip.
- Now Power ON your Nokia 6 device.
- Copy the firmware update.zip you downloaded to phone storage or SD Card.
- Open Phone dialpad and dial *#*#874#*#* to update.
- Wait until the installation process completes.
- Once the installation is completed, Reboot your Nokia 6 normally.
- That's all right! you have just update Nokia 6 to Android 9.0 Pie.
Method-2: Update Nokia 6 to Android 9.0 Pie Via ADB
1➔ Open the folder where ADB and Fastboot are located on your computer & Copy the Nokia 6.1 OTA file on the ADB folder.
2➔ In an empty area, hold down the shift key and right-click with the mouse, the context menu will contain an entry Open command window here
3➔ Reboot your Nokia 6 in recovery mode:
- Power off your Nokia device.
- Connect your device to computer then press & hold Power button + Volume Up button.
- As soon as an Android Robot pops up Realise held all buttons
- Disconnect your device then press & hold the Power button, & press Volume Up button Once.
- Choose Apply update from ADB, & Connect your Nokia 6 to the computer.
4➔ To check if your device connected Type:
- adb devices
5➔ To flash the Android 9.0 Pie Nokia 6 OTA file Type:
- adb sideload File-Name.zip
- File-Name.zip is the name of the Android 9.0 Pie Nokia 6 OTA file
6➔ Wait until the flash process completes then reboot your device in normal mode Type:
- fastboot reboot
