Realme X rolled out September Security patch update [RMX1901_11.A.18]




It is based on the Android 9 Pie with Realme’s skin ColorOS 6. It's seems to be a busy month for RealMe. It has been rolling out a plethora of updates for various of its devices. Already, the Realme 3, Realme 5 Pro and the Realme XT have received fresh software support in September. Now, the Realme X is getting the Android security patch update for the month of September 2019. The update comes with the build number RMX1901_11.A.18. The update brings a lot of other improves and adds new features as well.

The OEM now adds a holiday alarm clock function to the realme X with the current update. It also introduces a notification banner window. so, when a notification shows up, the user can slide left or right to dismiss the notification. As per the changelog, if you enable the developer mode, you can choose to not get the system notifications.

The RMX1901_11.A.18 update also improves the power consumption of the device. It is definitely a great change as smartphones laden with all kinds of features do run out of juice pretty quick with extensive use. Sometimes the daily battery standby level is lesser than what the OEM claims it can perform. So, regular updates to enhance battery performance is important.

The new update adds new system languages to the device. Now, users can have Japanese, Filipino, French, Hindi, Russian and many such language support on Realme X.
