Vivo officially realese Vivo NEX 3 with Funtouch OS 9.1 and price



Vivo officially presented the NEX 3 model with a "waterfall" display and a triple camera. The phone will be offered in 4G and 5G versions.

Vivo NEX 3 impresses with its 6.89-inch P-OLED display (2256x1080 px) with strongly bent and overlapping edges, the use of which eliminated the physical buttons and achieved an impressive "screen-to-body" ratio, reaching 99.6% . The screen is called Waterfall FullView Display and additionally hides a fingerprint reader.

Vivo NEX 3 has received a new vibration mechanism. First, it must replace the impression of pressing buttons that have disappeared from the sides of the housing, and secondly - make games more enjoyable, enhancing the impression with properly selected vibrations. The heart of the smartphone is of course the Snapdragon 855+ chip, supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory for files. The device is powered by a 4500 mAh battery equipped with a 44 W quick charging system.

In the photographic part we find the 64-megapixel Samsung Isocell Bright GW1 (/1.8) matrix, accompanied by two additional 13 Mpx matrices - with wide-angle lens (f/2.2) and tele (f/2.4). In the front we have a 16-megapixel, retractable camera (f/2.09) with portrait HDR, designed to improve the quality of selfies taken against a bright background. Everything works under the control of Android 9 with the Funtouch OS 9.1 interface, and the icing on the cake is the Hi-Fi sound system. The phone has a mini jack, three-band WiFi and NFC and USB-C with OTG.

The smartphone will be offered in two memory variants and two modem versions - 4G and 5G. However, only three combinations were prepared as below:
  • 8+128 GB, 4G - 4998 yuan, 708 USD
  • 8+256 GB, 5G - 5698 yuan, 807 USD
  • 12+256 GB, 5G - 6198 yuan, 877 USD
