The most powerful features of the phone, as per us, is its cooling and slim, fingerprint-resistant design. When playing high-end games, the device temperature does not rise so as to make it uncomfortable to hold and we had to employ the fan very few times while playing GPU-intensive titles. In a diversion from what the company says, gaming on Super Mode also doesn’t heat up the device that much as is claimed by the company; sometimes, the phone did heat up on this mode but to counter that, you can fall back on the fan with Rapid Cooling enabled. The second most powerful feature of the Red Magic 3S is a combination of several features like slow battery drainage, non-glitchy recording, easily-reachable buttons in the Red Magic window like SuperSnap button for taking screenshots and the button for the fan and effective microphones. The weaknesses are the shoulder buttons that need more accurate touch responses and the night camera shots.
Nubia should work a little on the layout and the design of the icons in the UI of the phone and try to make them look different than what you usually see on other regular smartphones, like having sharper and punchier icons that have been designed keeping a gaming theme in mind, though the default background looks fine for a gaming phone.The Nubia Red Magic 3S has certain advantages and disadvantages both when compared with the ROG Phone II but only a serious gamer would be that finicky about the details. We would like to conclude by saying that this is a powerful gaming device that can hold its own without the help of any accessories in long gaming sessions.

We reviewed the gaming smartphone Asus ROG Phone II a while back and it proved itself to be very powerful Android device, delivering on most of the aspects a user, especially a mobile gamer, would like to have in a smartphone. Some weeks later, Chinese rival ZTE’s gaming brand Nubia launched the Red Magic 3S gaming phone -- the upgraded version of their Red Magic 3 -- at Rs 35,999 for the base Mecha Silver variant of 8GB+128GB, which is priced Rs 2,000 less than the ROG Phone II. Red Magic 3 is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor as the ROG Phone II, it gives you a 90Hz refresh rate (unlike the ROG's 120Hz) and a 5000mAh battery (6000mAh in ROG Phone II's case)
