Vivo iQOO Neo Expected to be launched on Dec 27, 2019. This is 6 GB RAM / 64 GB internal storage base variant of Vivo iQOO Neo which is expected to available in Carbon Black, Electro Optic Violet colour. Vivo sub-brand iQOO introduced its first eponymous smartphone. Today, at an event in its home market of China, the company has introduced its second handset called the iQOO Neo. Similar to the iQOO, the Neo also arrives as a gaming-centric smartphone. The iQOO Neo comes with zero-lag touch acceleration technology, which is claimed to offer improved gaming experience by keeping up with users’ finger’s speed while dragging a controller on the screen. Notably, while the brand’s first offering arrived with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 flagship processor. 



Display and Camera

Vivo iQOO Neo flaunts a 6.38-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is powered by the last year’s Snapdragon 845 flagship SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Talking about the optics, it packs a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary snapper, an 8MP secondary shooter and a 2MP third sensor. On the front, the handset has a 12MP camera for selfies. 

As for the camera, the device has a triple rear setup with AI-powered 12MP main lens and 8MP + 5MP sensors. The front camera has a 12MP lens that can capture amazing selfie pictures and also assist with video calls.

 

Configuration and Storage

Vivo iQOO Neo may be getting a new variant in the near future. The handset was launched earlier this month with four RAM and storage configurations: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 64GB, and 8GB + 128GB. Now, the company seems to be working on a more affordable Vivo iQOO Neo smartphone. A 4GB RAM variant of the handset with model number Vivo V1914T has been spotted on Chinese certification authority TENAA. The variant will most likely be paired with 64GB storage and cheaper than its elder sibling 6GB RAM.


It houses an internal storage of 64GB, which is capable to keep a lot of files and data of the users. It is non-expandable.
 


Connectivity

Software-wise, the iQOO Neo boots Android 9.0 Pie with FunTouch OS 9 custom skin on top. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS with GLONASS. Lastly, a 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging technology fuels the handset. It rocks Super Liquid Cooling technology, which keeps the smartphone cool even while having intense gaming sessions.

In the connectivity department, the device has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, Glonass, NFC, USB Type-C, etc.


Battery
 
The device has a Li-ion battery bearing 4,500mAh capacity, which can provide an ample amount of power backup that can keep the device running for a day. It also gets a fast-charging technology that refills the battery is a short duration.


Vivo iQOO Neo price

The Vivo iQOO Neo price in China has been set competitively at RMB 1,798 (~Rs 18,000) for the base variant that has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 64GB have been priced at RMB 1,998 (~Rs 20,000) and RMB 2,098 (~Rs 21,000), respectively. The most expensive model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which will cost RMB 2,298 (~Rs 23,000). The phone will be available in Carbon Black and Electro-optic Violet colours.
